Childbirth Education
We offer group and private classes. Group classes will be scheduled periodically throughout the year and private classes can be scheduled at anytime on a schedule that fits your family. Private classes can be done in your home or remotely, during one session or over the course of several weeks depending on what your needs and goals are. As a military spouse, Liz has a first-hand understanding of the scheduling and separation that is a part of military service and loves to work with military families to provide custom classes to accommodate parents that may be apart for some or all of their pregnancy - these can be done via video call or a combination of in-person and video call.
Informed, Empowered and Confident - Our Class Philosophy
Our class philosophy is rooted is evidenced-based information - providing our families with the information they need to make confident decisions about care providers, birthing location and birthing options. We cover the full spectrum of pregnancy, labor and postpartum information - from pregnancy physiology to comfort measures and stages and process of birthing and so much in between. Our classes are for everyone and anyone, whatever your birth preferences and goals are.
Pricing
Our private classes are created to fit the needs of each family and as such we provide individual pricing on these services - give us a call or email to talk about your needs and get a price!
Birth Doula Package
Our Doula care starts with a free interview to determine if we are the right fit for your family. Once the contract is signed, our packaged includes 2-3 prenatal visits, on-call support beginning at 37 weeks, continuous support throughout your labor and delivery beginning when you are ready for Liz to join you and a postpartum visit.
Pricing
The cost of the Birth Doula Package is $1000. If you are a birth client and would like to add childbirth education, postpartum doula or lactation counselor services we will create a discounted package for you.
Postpartum Doula Packages
We provide postpartum Doula care from birth to about 12 weeks*. As new families are settling in, learning how to care for each other and heal after birth, it is vital that they receive extra care so that they can absorb the precious moments together and adjust to their new normal. Some of the things we may do during a postpartum visit include checking in to see how the parents are doing and determining where they need support, preparing a simple meal, spending time with baby so that parent(s) can nap, shower or take some time for themselves, light housework such as emptying the dishwasher, checking in with siblings or holding space and listening to the birth story. Much like Birth Doula support, Postpartum care is tailored to each family to fit their needs.
*If you have a baby that is older than 12 weeks and feel you need postpartum support please call us - we will take postpartum clients over 12 weeks on a case by case basis.
Pricing
Postpartum Doula Care is provided at an hourly rate of $35. Appointments must be a minimum of 2 hours. If you are a birth doula client, discounted packages combining birth and postpartum care are available, call or email us with your needs and we will provide a quote.

Breastfeeding questions can arise at any point in your nursing journey - whether you are a first time parent or nursing your 5th baby. We also offer a breastfeeding class designed for expecting parents.
